Leadership Programs

 

Join UNT students in developing yourself as a leader both on-campus and in the community. Below are opportunities for training through workshops, conferences, and retreats. In addition, be recognized through below services, and you can Get Involved in a variety of other ways!

Leadership Workshops    

Certified Leadership Series (Tuesday&Wednesday) – Students attend a weekly workshop to learn about how to be a change agent in their community through the social change model and explore leadership in theory and in practice.  The series is offered twice per week and students can select either section.  The series begins January 31st and February 1st and will be held in the Business Leadership Building Room 045.  Click here to Register for the Certified Leadership Series.

Leadership in Student Organizations (Thursday) – Student organizations attend workshops to improve their leadership skills and network with other student leaders.  This series will recognize student organizations who are interested in creating a culture of leadership within their organization and the UNT community.  The series is offered from 2-4 PM on Thursdays in the Business Leadership Building, Room 040. The series begins on March 7th with the Student Activities Center's Officer Summit. Click here to Register for Leadership in Student Organizations.

Greek Emerging Leaders Program (Wednesday) - This program is offered by the Center for Leadership and Service and the Office of Greek Life for students in UNT Greek Life who are interested in advancing their leadership skills to improve their organizations and the campus community.  The program enables Greek students to discuss current topics in Greek Life while learning fundamental leadership theory.  For students who are interested in this program, please contact Kirsten Bishop at kirsten.bishop@unt.edu.

Leadership Retreat

Emerging Leaders Summit – This program begins with a Spring Summit February 10th-11th.  This program is for student leaders who are interested in building their leadership skills in an effort to create positive change in their community.  This program is a collaborative effort between the Center for Leadership and Service and Orientation and Transition Programs.

Leadership Conference

All for NT/NT for All – This leadership conference is an opportunity for all students to participate in collaborative discussions with other student leaders.  NT40 and the Center for Leadership and Service host this conference for student leaders who are interested in making positive change in their organizations and their community.  The 2011 conference will be held on October 1st at the University Union from 10 AM until 4 PM.  Click here to Register for All for NT/NT for All. 

Leadership Services

Eagle Transcripts – the co-curricular transcript program that documents student involvement and activities while they are at UNT. Get your co-curricular transcript started today and start documenting your activities and involvement.

Leadership Luncheon – An end of year recognition banquet held in each spring to recognize student leadership.
